Police responding to a noise complaint in Lemon Tree Passage on Friday night deployed a taser on a 24-year-old man after he allegedly threatened officers with a knife.

Braiden Young was arrested and charged with two counts of intimidation and being armed with intent following the March 5 incident, which occurred at a Lemon Tree Passage home.

Port Stephens police were called to the home in Cambridge Street about 11pm after a complaint of loud music was made.

Police said the responding officers spoke with a woman at the home before leaving, only to return around 30 minutes later following another noise complaint.

The occupants turned the music down, police said, and officers left the scene before receiving a third complaint call for the same…
